MidSouth Pop Warner will putting on a Risk Management Class for all Head Coaches Saturday July 11, 2009 at Forestview High School, Gastonia NC, and all coaches that want to be a Head Coach this year must attend this class or you won't be allowed to be a Head Coach this year in Pop Warner Football.
The class starts at promply 9:00 am and if your not their by that time you won't be allowed to take the class, YOU MUST BE ON TIME.
If you have an Asst. Coach in mind he can also take this class because it's free and good for 3 years.
Those of you that haven't registered for this class you must go to MidSouth Pop Warner, click football tab and register for this Risk Management Class, the site says it's to be at the VFW but thats incorrect, it's to be at Forestview High School.

We need to have a manditory coaches meeting with the all Head Coaches and any asst. coaches Saturday June 20, 2009 to separate and clean the helmets for this coming year.
We also need to decal a few new helmets and get them separated. We will also have a meeting around 1:00 to discuss any changes we need for this coming year as far as football camp & practices. We need the coaches to schedule being at Optimist Room no later than 10:00 am to start separating and cleaning the helmets.

If anyone has a problem with this date please notify me at (704) 968-4268, we expect all our coaches to participate in any pre football meetings to prepare for footbal season.

Informal practice have begun on Saturdays until the season begins at Tuckaseege Park 9:30am until 11:30am weather permitting. You may register at this time as well see Lisa Hovis for the forms. The draft will be March 6th and 7th if you were on a team last year and not moving up you will be on the same team unless you ask to be drafted.

Informal softball practices starting this Saturday and every Satuday after until the season starts weather permitting. This will be at the Tuck fields at Tuckaseege Park 10am until 11:30am you may also register at this time.

We still have players that haven't returned there football uniforms and equipment yet from the 2008 season.
Please contact me about scheduling a time you can drop off your equipment to the Optimist Office.
You may purchase your home jersey for 20.00 at time of equipment turn in.
Any parents that still owes the Optimist money for there childs jersey please make arrangements to get this money to the Optimist so that your name can me marked off the list.
